Hi 2kwaks

i have fitted a Remus Hexacone Titanium exhaust with a carbon end on my 09 gtr and no "pops and farts" just gorgeous throaty roar and such a good looka in my humble opinion. Yes pricey but in the overall scheme of things worth it, i had my fitted at cost price ( to the dealer ) and fitted free as part of the deal and worked out at about 40% discount.

I have attached some pics  8) ;D

Introductions / Big thanks!

big thanks to everyone on the forum in helping make up my mind to buy a gtr. i picked up my 09 gtr on saturday and had a great ride home, what a bike! i just wanted to thank you all for being so honest, frank and informative which makes a newbies life so much easier when deciding if a gtr is for them. I have read so many topics about all aspects of gtr ownership that i felt no fear in trading in my naked muscle bike for the gtr, a choice which, after a few good rides, i'm glad i made  ;D

will try to get some pics uploaded soon but soooo glad i got the Remus Hexacone fitted, such a better sound and so much better looking. I have also had Oxford heated sports grips fitted to get nearly up to 2010 spec and ready for winter. Next is the screen so more reading on the many options is called for.

So thanks guy's, keep discussing

thanks for the welcome to gtr ownership and i'm already drawing up a list of things to do to improve my new ride. Heated grips are the first on the list, sat nav and screen next so i look forward to trawling through the posts seeing what others have done.

i agree coastrider, the blue is a lovely colour, looks black until you get it under lights or in the sun then it literally sparkles. What carbon can did you put on? I went for the Remus in the end although i looked at the Vance & Hines and the Two Brothers.

Also love to see pics of the Boewolf rad guard sometimes

Introductions / Hi new owner from norfolk

Hi chaps

been a forum member for a while gleening info and ideas and today have become the new owner of a blue GTR on a 09 plate with 5700 miles in perfect condition after a long demo ride. Chopped in my MT-01 against it and got a Remus Hexcone can thrown in ( titanium with carbon fibre end ) to seal the deal as the only thing i didn't like was the standard exhaust.

what a machine! its like a rocket once you get to 7000 rpm and is fun in the twisties. Never thought i could replace my MT-01 but i have found a bike that delivers in every area.

Picking it up on Thursday next week and will have too walk around with that silly smug grin on my face till then, can't wait!   ;D
