hy essex boy,

i made a trip in serbia, muntenegru and croatia last year.Croatia it's paradise for motorcycling....the adriatic coast(road) has 700 km,but it takes around 6 days to see it all,the average speed it is around 40 - 60 km/h.I  made the trip in august and there are a lot off turist, and the road was full of cars. The best place to go is ISTRIA(rijeka it's a wonderful city,a small one),then you must see the PLITVICE PARK, then go down to dubrovnik,a city fortress on the see.The price (for food, acomodation, gasoline, etc)are lower in comparition with italy or france. And if you arrived in dubrovnik maybe you have time to go in muntenegru and you can see KOTOR GOLF....it's just a perfect place to rest for a night or two.
in Croatia there are 2 high way one starts from west to east an another to north to south, but you will miss the ADRIATIC ROAD COAST.

Hello Sebastion and welcome to the Forum, your English is better than mine ! Myself and wife, Irene, coming to your country in a few weeks, Sibiu, Polana Brason, Cluj-Napoca, and also a ride along the Transfaragon Highway ( The road to nowhere ??) Don't know if any of those places are near you, but if they are give me a shout and we can meet up for a pint (Litre) xx   Stephen

hello again
thank you again for your good thoughts.......
this place is not far from me,about 4 - 5 hours to drive, but the roads are splendid, and maybe it is posible to meet you.......,transfagarasan highway it's a must if you come in Romania, but if you come here maybe is good to see Transalpina road, this is not far from Transfagarasan highway, and it's a old road, now in 97%, is asphalt. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transalpina_%28DN_67C%29
i wish to see this road in july, but maybe it will be soon........ ;)

here is a map made by romanian motorcycle guys, maybe it will help you, just click on the topleft for sport or cruise and you will see the quality of the roads......
in august i wish to go with GTR in Croatia for 2 weeks,if you heve seen this country maybe you will share with me some tips ;) ;)............

you have a great comunity here......just keep doing this.................
wish you the best and many miles with your bike...............

thank you all
indeed, in Romania, you can find a lot of beautiful places, and many roads with magnific landsacape like:www.transalpina.biz or romaniaturistica.com/obiective-turistice/transfagarasanul.html.But all europe has great place to see with the bike......
about GTR,is a fantastic machine, and i can say "my dream come true".only negative thing is the screen......i have 1.90 m,and its a problem for me ....but hope to get better with the new screen:http://www.kappamoto.com/per-la-tua-moto/eng/marca/*KAWASAKI*/modello/*GTR+1400+%2807+%3E+10%29++*/

i love this bike ,the brake are incredible....,and the engine for me it is perfect,i don't know way the guys from mcn not liked............,the suspenssion is great, torque it's present from very low rpm.........,A GREAT BIKE.........
i put a image with the bike.............
i will do a lot of km(miles)wih this bike............
