Quote from: Boomer on April 17, 2013, 04:25:45 PMBoomer you wimp.
Yer not a wimp.
In the 17 months to the end of November 2011 I did 27,000 miles on mine commuting to Crawley from Essex.
120+ miles per day, 5 days a week, all weathers, and I rarely went out for rides at weekends as by then I was all biked out.
In the 16 months since then I have done under 2000 miles but ALL of those miles were for pleasure.
If someone thinks that makes me a wimp then they can![]()

Quote from: Burchy on March 29, 2013, 10:38:42 AMHi fairweatherbiker, I think the advice Burchy as said is spot on, i have clutch rumble on both my bikes ( GTR and Hayabusa ) which disappears when i pull the clutch lever in, so if its just the normal clutch rumble noise dont worry about it and bleeding the clutch wont make and differance. JUST RIDE MAN
Most Kwaks have a rumble from the clutch. Its the clutch release bearing that is spinning freely when the lever is out and only takes up load when the lever is pulled in. As long as the clutch still operates smoothly with no slipping, juddering etc then I would say you mechanic is correct "They all do it" Don't bother bleeding the system, its not going to change that noise
Quote from: 100milesaway on March 29, 2013, 08:48:47 AMCould not agree more
Good heavens, whatever next? fully enclosed cockpit? It's a motorbike most people ride one so that they can be out in the fresh air. Are the worlds motorcyclists going soft? bah humbug, rant rant![]()
