Just back from a 7-day tour around Ireland.
Ferry to Larne and headed around Antrim Coast.
Onwards to Donegal, Sligo, Galway, Limerick, Tipperary etc
Avoided motorways at all costs and the roads were fantastic! nice, smooth and very twisty in places.
The road from Gort to Lisdoonvarna en-route to the Cliffs of Moher has to be one of my favourites along with the road over the Mountains of Mourne via Spelga Dam.
Cant wait to do it again some time!

Thanks folks,
I'll maybe put my trust in the supplied Velcro type fixings and see what happens

Accessories, Farkels and Mods / laminar lip
June 28, 2016, 03:02:02 PM
hi,
fitted my laminar lip at the end of last week and took the bike out for a run last night.
Must say I am quite impressed although wish id placed I slightly higher.
Has anyone bolted their LL to the screen? if so, can you post a pic of the fixings you have used?
As much as the fixings seems secure, I can't help feeling they will detach at speed
thanks

45 minutes from my house, great roads North and West of Loch Lomond, carry on to Inverary and Oban, spoilt for choice!
Pic from Inverary on 5th June (26 degrees!)

Fixed it! Ended up having to take off the top yoke to get access to the underside of the ignition switch!, the wires had come out of the steering lock!

1400GTR Discussion / needing some help!!

hi folks,
I was re-routing the sat-nav wiring this evening and have dislodged a couple of wires from underneath the ignition switch
can anyone advise how to get the unit off so I can put the wires back in again
it is stopping the ignition from switching on and giving a message about a steering lock error
see pics attached of wires
