Same here stuck to bottom of the box so it's not unsightly on the plate when box not used
Ditto. Cut up a piece of old wetsuit and stuck it onto the bottom of the box. Job done 👍

Ok I admit defeat. 3rd set of bulbs (last ones cost £30 the pair) all the plastics off the bike, wired it up in "mock up" fashion. No hyperflash, white on running lights, indicators when they should be on, but no turney-off the DRL's. I'm going to the pub now to sulk

I have feedback from the seller...

"Dear friend,

We know it may not meet your expectations. But we have low profit in eBay, Because we also suffer loss, we paid the shipping fee and the eBay final value fee.
You can keep it and do not need to return.

We suggest to refund half to you and you keep the item to save your time and money and you do not leave us any negative or neutral feedback, is it ok?"

Is it me or is that bang out of order? Has anybody else found this when receiving the wrong bulbs?  Does anybody know where else sells them (lessons learnt at a cost of a tube of smarties I guess!!)
Cheers

Hi bigbad, can you simulate it by keeping the pos feed on the white lights and make and break the feed to the Amber leds?

Helloooo!
In short...no.
With or without the bulb holder, power to white terminal only = white lights, yellow terminal only = yellow lights and both terminals = both yellow and white lights :-(

Booooooo - have I fubar'd somewhere ?

Morning peeps! So I finally got all the bits n bibs via fleabay to do this. When I connect the LEDs off the bike (on the bench in a mock set up), both yellow and white segments light up. I presume that the flasher relay is what causes the white segment to know to switch off ?   I want to know it all works before getting all drastic with the plastics!!

Cheers as ever

Good evening fellow forum dwellers
A good mate of mine has dropped a bomb this evening by booking a trip to France for D-day.  Mrs BigBad has signed my pass, so that's it....we're going.  Only problem is we've got no accommodation booked  :mfr_lol:

Has anybody got any good ideas - said friend won't do tents (he's too posh!) otherwise I'd say we'd find a corner of a field and just sweet-talk a local farmer.

Cheers in advance

Take ya time I say.....I wanted a 2010+ bike and looked at a few, fell in love with a few, got disappointed with a few then came across a 2013 model with 325 miles on it from new at £7500 - snapped it up and rode away two days later.  Took it straight to my local garage for a full service and have never looked back. That's nearly 12 months ago now, and it's still only got 4500miles on it.

Great bike

Ebay item 152310962262 currently listed on a 62 plate @ £7500 with 10k miles if it helps ?

Evening all
Has anybody mounted LED aux lights under the nose with success ?
I want some more light, but options seem limited to under mirror or fixed to front fender.  Low down (fender) says  :shit: lighting on the road, and under mirror just looks pants IMHO (but might be the best option).  The only alternative is where crash bobbins might fit (where the side gills are) but the LED's would probably drown out the indicators......

And whilst I'm at it, what does the standard alternator kick out vs a standard bike power consumption ??

Cheers all - respect as ever :-)

The beowulf rad guard that i bought/fitted needed a small amount of manipulation to ensure it had the correct curvature

What OC said - mine took a bit of fettling too

I cut an old wetsuit to suit the shape of the back plate. 3-4mm thick neoprene - doesn't lose its thickness and doesn't hold water. Works a treat
