Bikes don't have the same headlight pattern as cars, hence why you never see bikes with them on

Thanks for your reply,
I was considering the rac just because the market value of the bike is unlimited, however it is the most expensive, but after hearing your review I think I'll just bite the bullet and pay it, the last thing I want is for a breakdown and they won't cover the cost of recovering the bike to the U.K.

Any of you guys recommend any European  breakdown company's, mainly ones that will recover the bike back to the uk if the worst was to happen
Thanks

Hi guys a bit of advice needed,
Me and the missus are traveling round Germany in two weeks, however to get to our first destination we need to do most of the traveling through France. Doing some research on the French laws there's a requirement for helmets to have reflective stickers on them. Is this true because fitting stickers on the front of my Caberg duke will be hard due to air vents. Also the requirement for a hi viz vest is it to be worn at all times or incase of an emergency, I'm thinking of bypassing France and travel through Belgium instead, it's a shame it adds nearly 100 miles on to the trip.
Anybody's feedback will be appreciated

You need to go up the a9 to John o'groats, the scenery and roads are amazing, once past Inverness the road is usually quite and very little police

Well here's an update,
Dimanteld clutch and to my surprise the friction plates are still like new, quite surprised since they're the original and it's done 22000 miles, however the two outer plates had a few hot spots on them, but the clutch isn't juddering so left them for the time being, built it all back up with fresh oil and bled the clutch and all seems smooth, I'm hoping it was rider error what caused the problem rather than mechanical

Thanks for the advice guys, at the moment the clutch is out getting inspected, more for piece of mind because we're traveling to Germany later this year so just measuring the friction plates to see if there still good, once it's built back up I'll replace the oil and bleed the clutch to see if that helps

Hi guys this is what's happened,
Riding to work Sunday down the motorway no problems, come of the motorway  ride about the town changing gear fine, stop at the shop, jump back on went to change into second pull away again and nothing, glanced down and notice the bike in natural, pulled the clutch in shifted up and grind clunk bang you name it, released the clutch and tried again and the same by that point I was at my work, so stopped and went into first gear with a louder than normal clunk. I wasn't thrashing it the revs were at 5000rpm and the clutch was used to change gear,
So anyway turned back around and went out for another ride this time second gear changed with a small grind but went in, stopped again pulled of and seemed to be ok, what I did notice is if I change gear without the clutch it's really smith with no clunks however if I use it it horrible, has any body expericend this before, the rest of the gears are fine, it's done 23000 miles still on the original clutch, last oil change was done 3000 miles ago with castrol 10 40 fully synthetic
Cheers

Hi everyone,
recently bought the bike back in March and moving up from a Honda cb600 what a jump, at first quite nervous with such a big jump but once I started riding it what a machine. Me and the Missus have already planned a trip to the south of Germany in September, can't wait
