so many jealous gtr owners nowadays !!!!!!!  paying premium prices to try and get the k 1600  toys onto the gtr ..save your money and buy the real thing with all the extras fitted correctly  as standard rather than bolting on parts!!!

No jealousy here!  My superior Gen1 GTR...no lower case letters for such an awesome bike,  ticks all the right boxes for me, power, speed, comfort, fuel consumption and above all...reliability!! I'm long ago into the 6 figure millage mark with zero issues! Wish the same for you mate!!

I've had the ZZR1400, sold it for the GTR as I also have a spinal issue that the ZZR even with raised bars etc, just exacerbated. I also felt the GTR was a bit underpowered coming off the ZZR, so I went with the usual, a full exhaust system with no cat, aftermarket air filter, PC V, flies out and eventually a set of 44mm ZZR1400 throttle bodies with velocity stacks. Some dyno time and that woke it up nicely and for the last 4 years been really happy with the performance!(167,5 RWHP). Don't think much more can be done without serious mods to the ram air system get more air in.

Wish I had known this months ago...would never have bought this POS!!  It doesn't rain here in SA all that often...but never the less, when it does, the 400 is absolutely useless!! Strange when I researched it, couldn't find a bad word about them...go figure!!
