The Market / 2009 GTR for sale NOW SOLD
January 28, 2019, 02:49:26 PM
Hi All

Need to sell my grey 2009 GTR to clear some space in the garage.

She has done 25,033 miles and is MOT'd until end of June 2019. VG tyres, comprehensive service history since i have had her with a Kawasaki main dealer. recent top gasket, oil pressure switch and new front wheel bearings. Major service in 2017. She comes with a brand new Givi Maxia 57ltr top box and a touring screen along with the standard one and heated grips.

I will get her out of the garage for some better pics if any is interested.

She is advertised locally (East Sussex) for £4,795 ono.

Mikey

After a bit more investigation i might be interested in your MRA screen. Any pics and price please?

Thanks Mickey but looking for the extra screen to swap when required.

Icefever, that's helpful and would suggest the 550 screen would be enough to do what iam after which is good as its cheaper

Hi All

I have the standard screen on my 2009 GTR and I am 6'2". Now i don't want to be insulated from the world but when i put the screen up on a long run i would like a little less head buffeting.

I have sen for sale two heights on the touring screens 550mm and 600mm. I don't want to get the tallest if the shorter one is adequate for me but likewise don't want to waste money on the 550 to find it isn't tall enough?? Any thoughts from your experiences??  :ohplease:

I don't know anyone who has suffered with Carpel tunnel syndrome but I suffer with Raynaud's phenomenon  though.

Even though I wear gloves, when it goes cold my fingers go completely white. Stress brings it on which also drives me mad. Also a slight vibration in the bars can also bring it on. It does my head in but nothing I can really do about it.

Well you learn somthing everytime you come on here! Thanks debs i didnt realise i had a phenomenon  :whistling:

Can daughters fall into the "knob" category aswell as sons?

It may help to categorize some questionable behavior! or not.  :hammer:

Problem solved!

No silly kit added to the bike just massive bulbs which were drawing too much current.

Dealer wired in a new pug and changed the bulbs all good

Superb long weekend around Wales, weather was kind to us only wet a handful of times.

The guitar player is not me before you ask, he rides a GS  :nono:

Lesson learnt from the trip;

Do not attempt to pull away quickly on the GTR in 4th gear
