Look on the Givi website there are pictures of all variants. There is also a list of spare parts. If it is genuine Kawasaki box then the top cover may be available only from Kawasaki. There used to be a very helpful Givi dealer in North Wales but I can't remember his name at the moment so will have a look at my old invoices in the loft later for his name.
I think Kawasaki used to do 2 different boxes, 38 and 47 litre.

Cheers, I'll have a look.

Thanks Paul.

So next question has to be how do I find out which Givi box it is?

I'm now the proud owner of a Kawasaki (Givi) top box and universal fitting plate. I intend to use this on my new steed. Only problem is it's green and got Kawasaki written on it.

Is it possible to change the green bit for a black bit or do I have to look for a more drastic approach?

There used to be different option under the accessories section on the Kawaskai site but I think the stock is limited/non existent these days.

Also I think the top cover was made specifically for Kawasaki as it has the 4 ridges in to match the side panniers (if you're talking about the 39 litre rather than the 47 litre)

Thanks. I was hoping it was going to be something simple

I know the Kawasaki box is really a givi, so the question is can the coloured panel be changed for a different colour?

I've just noticed it's an either or with the top box panniers. Hadn't thought about a Versys. To be honest it's the weight differential is swinging it for me.

Anybody had anything to do with these? Been looking at figures and performance wise there's not a lot in it. One advantage is the SX is 90kg lighter  that's a whole person. Disadvantage is a chain.
As I said anybody got any input?

Hi All

I have the standard screen on my 2009 GTR and I am 6'2". Now i don't want to be insulated from the world but when i put the screen up on a long run i would like a little less head buffeting.

I have sen for sale two heights on the touring screens 550mm and 600mm. I don't want to get the tallest if the shorter one is adequate for me but likewise don't want to waste money on the 550 to find it isn't tall enough?? Any thoughts from your experiences??  :ohplease:

I've got a MRA screen in my garage off a 2009 bike. I bought it without reading the advert properly. Don't know if you're interested.

I'm in agreement with you. It's something I've always done and TBH I will continue to do so.
