General Discussion / Re: Brake Pressure (or lack of it)
September 04, 2014, 11:37:15 AM
thanks to everyone who offered some comments/opinions. Have tried everything and more which has been mentioned. There was even a slight tear in one of the washers in the piston so even replayed them. Nothing works so I've done the unthinkable and booked it into my local dealer next week. With departure only 2 weeks away time is not on my side. I'll let everyone know what the issue is. I'm still of the opinion is ABS related however. Time will tell.
cheers for the comments

General Discussion / Brake Pressure (or lack of it)
September 01, 2014, 01:21:08 PM
hey guys, I've got an 08 GTR - changed my front pads and fluid; can't get pressure to build up at all after bleeding  system numerous times. This is what I've tried..

1) Master cylinder stripped, cleaned and washers renewed
2) Calipers split, cleaned and seals all renewed.
3) Hoses checked without calipers on to ensure fluid dripping through (no problem)
4) Hooked up ABS self diagnosis terminal to check for ABS errors. None appearing!

Anyone got any ideas as to what to do next?

cheers
