sorry but its the old exhuast question again! after long consideration. I decided to buy a after market exhaust because I ride with out the panniers most of the time and the standard can dose look out of place when the panniers are removed. I did buy a beowulf oval black with a carbon end, look excellent but it did "pop and fart" on shutting the power off. I know this dose not botherd some guys, but on the gtr1400 I prefer this not to happen. so I called beowulf and explained, they said it should not "pop and fart" when shutting off, but this exhaust can was not tested on the 2010 model and maybe some alterations may be required. they said they would arange for it to be tested on the newer model which may take a while and would get back to me. so they offer me a full refund which I excepted. now am back in the position where I was with the standard exhaust, have heard the remus exhaust dose not "pop and fart" when shutting the power off. as anyone got a remus fitted and confirm it dose not pop and fart when shutting the power off. was thinking of getting the remus hexacon titanium or remus carbon hexacon, if any one as either of theses two remus exhaust fitted would you please be kind enough to share some pics :)
I have to admit when I had the CB1300 and I had an Akro on it is sounded sooo sweet when it farted and popped as you so delicately put it. :o
But that style does not suit the GTR. I think Winston Smith possibly has a Beowulf fitted and that just growls.
I think it's Winston that does the growling ;D

Your'e probably right. ;)
Not got a Remus but have not had a farting problem having fitted an Extreme stainless can on my 2010 model. The bikes ok as well
TwoBros rock, and yes it does pop on the overrun from high revs - that is the best bit.
No actually the best bit is the fact that it sounds like an F1 car over 6k rpm.
No, tell a lie, the best bit is that it is pretty respectably quiet under 6k rpm.
Nope, actually the best bit is the fact it saves 5kg and looks great.
Can you tell I like it? I am not helping here am I? ;D
Martin.

I'm looking at a Remus too, when it comes to the wife I always apply my friends principle that it is easier to ask for forgiveness than permission 8)

which remus exhaust were you thinking of getting!
Liked the look of the carbon hexacone but cheap it is not, might go for titanium revolution as forgiveness only goes so far :)
Hi 2kwaks
i have fitted a Remus Hexacone Titanium exhaust with a carbon end on my 09 gtr and no "pops and farts" just gorgeous throaty roar and such a good looka in my humble opinion. Yes pricey but in the overall scheme of things worth it, i had my fitted at cost price ( to the dealer ) and fitted free as part of the deal and worked out at about 40% discount.
I have attached some pics 8) ;D

life is to short to want somethink and not have it, with-in-reason of course ;) buy the carbon hexacone if thats the one you want! and tell the wife it was half the original price, which works out cheaper than the revolution. but if she nabs you! don't say it was my idea ;) I can just about protect my self from one woman, but would have no chance against two of them at the same time :)
