fast forward this bad boy to 4 mins 45 seconds and see what happens when ya turn the traction control off and ride it like a hamfisted oaf.

Watched the 2nd one a few times and still don't know how he lost it round that simple corner.  ::)

The bikes you see in video 1 didn't have traction control.
Note they still have ABS written on the front mudguard and not KTRC like the newer models.

And in the second video it is sooo obvious that he dropped that bike on purpose. ::)

Still sounds horrible though ... the sound of Gtr and tarmac don't go together ... not like that anyway ! :( :(

What a waste! Why damage a bike deliberately?

Why not? It's a bike, it's not a person!
They trash cars and trucks and caravans on Top Gear and we consider it entertainment.
So what's different about a bike?

As for wheelies, because it's a LAUGH!
Did you never do something just "because" you could?
Childish? Certainly.
Fun? Definately.
Painful? Occasionally.
Illegal? Probably but isn't just about anything that is any fun illegal?

yup wheelies are a great laugh, but tbh whats the point on a GTR  ::) . if you wanted to do whole knee down, front in the air thing ya should have brought a ZX10 or Blade.

i have a Tuono fer such high jinks and leave the GTR for what it's best at, getting me from here to somewhere miles away in comfort, but without making the trip boring.

I'm not so keen on pulling wheelies with big powerful bikes.

But I'm sure going to try if the GTR can fly.  ;D

Good for you. I don't have enough money to buy a bike just to play on.
Also, I don't fit on most "fun" bikes so the GTR does double duty for me.
Even the ZZR1400 is cramped for me.
So, the GTR is my commuter and my fun bike.  ;D
