Title: Pictures of some accessories fitted
Post by: coastrider on October 23, 2011, 07:51:41 PM
Hi folks.
I have posted some images of the bike with the following mods.
1. Extreme Stainless oval carbon silencer.
2. Sidmarx hugger
3. Fender extender
4. Beowulf radiator guard

I have also had my Garmin Zumo mount and an Optimate lead fitted . Only thing I'm waiting for is my Calsci screen and I'm sorted.

That black rad guard definately looks good. I forgot I had a skidmarx rear hugger on. I always have my panniers on so you cant realy see it. They are a worthwhile investment.

Hi Mogster
Make sure you tell Andy at Extreme the year of your bike. Having got it to work on mine, I sent him some pics so he could improve the stand stop alignment a bit more.
It will save you any messing about if you decide to go for it.
I have taken the baffle out today and it doesn't make it much louder, but does improve the tone. Only thing is, I might put it back in when i can give it the berries ;D I dont like 'em too loud.

I want hugger now, put off before as unsure name of nut/bolts to be undone so could fine torque settings when replacing em.

Hi Therenback
It was easy to fit but you need to take the silencer off to get the allen key in fixing behind it. I also found it easier to loosely attach the nearside bracket to the hugger first. They also recommend using locktite(not supplied) on the brecket bolts.

It can be a bit of a faffy job fitting one but the advantages of having one on the bike far outweigh the disadvantages.
