Title: Anyone done the accessory switched Fuzeblock install on a 2010/11?
Post by: Martin#30 on October 21, 2011, 12:20:05 PM
Afternoon all,

I want to install a Fuzeblock (here on NippyNormans (http://www.nippynormans.com/products/f650stcsgsdakar/item/fuzeblock-switchable-fuse-panel-fuz-fz1)) relay switched off one of the accessory leads for heated clothing and some daytime running lights.

Anyone done this on the 2010/11 and got any tips or experiences worth sharing? For example how much fairing needs to come off? Best to use front or rear accessory switched lead? Mount under the seat, or behind the fairing like Kwikasfuki (great install thread on his 2008 - here on the forum (http://www.gtr1400.co.uk/forums/index.php/topic,278.msg2688.html#msg2688)) has done?

Cheers all,

Martin.

I've always thought on the '10 onwards models putting under the tank bag place holder would be ideal. Don't know how feasible it would be. Would be fairly ready to access.

TBH, I'm surprised there its an aftermarket storage solution for that area.

Under the seat is probably easiest for access, but then its a question of how to route all the wiring, bit that is true of wherever you put it.
