Took my bike to dealer for new tyre today and while it was there they said they had fixed a plate to the brake pedal as part of a recall. Apparently a stone can get stuck and basically jam the rear brake on. Just thought you all should know, had nothing in post to tell me just something the dealer picked up on.
By the way was a rear tyre bridgestone bt023 first impressions are that she feels much more stable in the corners.
Yep, this is an old recall, not sure what the bracket looks like so I dont know if mines been done or not. I note yours is an 08, does the modification get done FOC or what?
Yes Steve if you find that yours has not been done it will be a free upgrade. ;D Mind you after you have been to view your new one on tuesday ::) it wont matter will it? ;)
I'm only going to look at it....I haven't committed to spending any money. ;D
Does anyone have a picture of this plate?

There's absolutely nothing wrong with my current GTR but I like to keep abreast of whats on offer out there and what mines worth so that when the day dawns I know what I'm looking at having to spend.

I think you are going to be disappointed! ;)
