Hi all,
Been lurking in the shadows while I searched for a pre-owned bike, bid and won zed1000's but he changed his mind and is now keeping it, put an offer in on Bullet's low mileage 09 in stunning silver/grey.
Had it delivered today, Unfortuneately I was at work so could not go out to play till late, quick trip to Sainsbury's for fuel and sweeties.
Hoping to get out tomorrow if all chores done.
Been reading all recent postings, I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder but no-one can like that exhaust !!!!!! Got to find a replacement pronto
regards Coman
Coman, welcome and congratulations on the new bike. I do actually like the standard can but each to their own. Take advantage of the current decent weather and get out and play.
Hello and welcome to the forum. :)
Welcome - you'll love the bike. Does all it needs to.

Hello and welcome to the forum. :)
Managed to get out to play today, Colchester to Sudbury via Bures, onto Monks Eleigh, up the A140, R to Stadbroke and Halesworth then onto Southwold pier for an ice cream, came back on the A12, boring road but quickest way home. "Spirited" riding still returned 46 mpg, handles the back roads well for a big girl. Out again Sunday, Copdock show

hi you will love your bike,i know what you mean about the exhaust though,i was the same.found a company who make really good quality aftermarket pipes,i went for the carbon pipe with the two pipes, sounds great and i think it looks much better. they are called extreme stainless, your pipes are made to order, cost for mine was £180.00 well worth it to me. if you log onto you tube and type in effyzzr that will take you to a video of my exhaust, hope this helps cheers.
Hello Coman and welcome to the forum ... enjoy the bike .... I love the original exhaust but was recently tempted by the above but I have held tight .... for the present ;D
Hi Coman and welcome to the Asylum from a fellow GTR rider from Saarf Essex. ;)
Have you ever ridden the Latchingdon to Bradwell road?
On a dry day it's a good road for the GTR.
Hi Boomer,
yeah done that one, plus all the others round that way, Colchester to S Woodham Ferrers, Fyfield to Finchingfield, Dunmow to Saffron Walden.
Anywhere that the road is "interesting" and not full of knee down heroes.
Can never understand why people "share" their fave rides.
If I find a great road I share with my riding buddies, dont think that the Police dont read the same mags and forum sites that we do

<LOL>
Half the people on here are coppers or ex-coppers.
They are also 1400GTR riders and are probably some of the fastest people you will ever ride with.
Some of them are even human. :P ;D
