Title: Motrax Coverup
Post by: cpettifer on September 29, 2011, 02:38:22 PM
Anyone come across this:

http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/Product.do?method=view&n=353&g=0&p=16793&utm_source=Google&utm_medium=Base&utm_campaign=Motorcycle (http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/Product.do?method=view&n=353&g=0&p=16793&utm_source=Google&utm_medium=Base&utm_campaign=Motorcycle)

I'm wondering if it'll fit over the GTR nicely? I'm thinking ahead to those days this winter when the weather is not quite as nice as today...

So far a good brushing off with the side of the glove has always done the trick for me if there was water on the seat.
You might as well carry some paper towels with you if you want a really dry seat.
They don't even need a carry bag and fold even smaller.

Previously I've carried some cloths with me that I wipe over the bike before jumping on, but have been thinking about getting a cover again...

hi mate, i bought a hein gerick xl waterproof cover, completly covers the bike with all the panniers, top box and a extended screen.
Comes in a small storage pouch as well. There was a offer on with a £10 voucher off,so it was £19.99.

Well I won an ebay auction for one for 99p, so I'll see what it's like.

Well it fits. I think it's meant for a smaller bike, including going over the top of the screen. Not sure, when I eventually use it (weather has been OK so far), that I will put it over the screen. I'll probably just anchor it down the front of the bars somewhere.

More good weather this week... just getting a bit chilly I think.
