:D Now had the GTR for a month & covered nearly 3000mls. All I can say this is the best all rounder I have owned for comfort, ease of use in fact everything. As I dont need to carry luggage have used it 95% on time without panniers. Also I think it is better than my previous Blackbirds in alround day to day use. Have added the following Carbon Hugger, Carbon Fender Extenda, HID Lights, Blueflame Carbon Oval Exhaust, Kawasaki Tank Pads.The Blueflame end can gives it it a little sportier look & sounds great. Also fitted the BT023 and as always they are so planted, chicken strips dont exsist this bike does corner. The fuel useage is the same as the Blackbird which is ok. The mirrors which people seem to complain about I think are great better than Blackbird & the ZZR1400. As you can tell Im over the moon with the bike, thought I would share this with you. :D

And I thought I was going some to clock up 8000 miles in 7 months. 3000 miles is good going. Could mean more servicing costs though. Just had the 7500 service which was 300 quid.
I have to say I have posted about the ridiculous 3500 service intervals in warranty. Such a great powerful bike does not need to have a service that often.
Brilliant bike and so easy to eat up the miles.
Tis best Bike ive ever had for sure. Pisses all over my old FJRs. Dont try & tell them that on there forums though.
You say you ride without the Panniers...I keep mine on all the time, they have protected me a couple times. They demolished a wing on a ford Focus some years back on FJR...pratt swung out from line of traffic to U turn. He hit pannier. We stayed up right luckily. Wifee at time pointed out the car, guy was genuinely sorry . But the dent in the Wing was amazing. Only a scuff on my pannier. If not had had Panniers on it would have been Wifeees leg. Not that if she was crossing road now , I wouldn't try & run her over....
