Title: New GTR owner
Post by: Ianonortheast on November 17, 2022, 07:17:46 PM
Hi all. I picked up a 2010 model at the weekend and after riding it home from the North East to the Midlands, I'm suitably impressed with my first GTR.
I will at some point change the end can (probably out a Scorpion one on).
I then plan on giving the paintwork some tlc with a proper machine polish followed by a ceramic coating.

You've bought the right bike for two-up touring, I'm sure you'll go far

Enjoy the beast, the better weather will be around before you know it.

Whereabouts in the midlands are you?

Pete.

Cheers Pete, certainly looking forward to some better weather!

I'm just outside of Burton on Trent.

Welcome aboard from one of the members who still owns a GTR1400. Sadly, like bikers everywhere nowadays, we're nearly all old farts on here. But friendly in our dementia aided way.
