Title: Alternative Exhaust?
Post by: Lonewolf on September 21, 2010, 11:29:37 PM
Just seen this on Ebay, I personally dont mind having the huge tube down the side of the bike but if I were to put an aftermarket can on or consider a modification whilst still trying to keep the original appearance of the bike, this could be the answer. Anybody think it could be a subtle improvement on the original?

Chop down can!! (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/kawasaki-gtr1400-exhaust-/110589045258?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item19bf9eea0a)

I think the shorter one is slightly louder. Still looks like a potato launcher!

The stock exhaust is too quiet. Add in a smooth engine there is just no soul to the bike

I installed the full system dual Muzzys, it adds great power to the bike and great look too. But you have to have a PCV otherwise your fuel consumption will ruin you.

L'impianto di scarico originale , si ottiene un accorciamento migliore Saund senza alterare l' originalità. Pagare per tutto questo , se vanno scritte dell'omogolazione mezzo .

I wouldn't say its the length of the stock exhaust that makes it looks like a potato launcher, more the width.

Norman Bates, sarà come dici, una patata ,ma Il Sound è originale , non aftermarket , se lo desideri ho filmati del sound.

Norman Bates, will be as you say, a potato, but the sound is original, not aftermarket, if you wish I have movies of the sound.
