Title: clutch lever
Post by: tapps on July 23, 2021, 08:56:38 PM
the clutch lever lost pressure a few weeks ago, the fluid was very dark in colour so i had the fluid replaced at a main dealer's, i was out today & the pressure loss was there again, there wasn't any pressure felt until the lever was about 1 inch from the handle bar grip, is there AIR in the system, would you personally take the bike back to tell them what the problem is, or would you remove the lower fairing & bleed it yourself.

I would be back to the dealer for repair.
I have changed the fluid myself and it can be a pain getting rid of all the air which takes time. The dealers don't seem to want to spend a lot of time on it.

:agree:  take it back and remind them that it is a safety related item and the repair they have conducted appears to be faulty
