When I switch off, my indicators flash once, then the screen drops and everything switches off just like it should.
BUT......
Sometimes the indicators flash NINE times before everything switches off.
I presume this is some secret Kawasaki error code for something but I can't notice anything wrong when I'm riding, and it only happens sometimes.
Anyone had this happen before or know what it is?
It's Morse code for "I'm being held prisoner in the Kawasaki factory in Kobe" :help:
As Boomer has said, it is Morse Code but its actually broadcasting a distress signal saying, "I WISH I WAS A BMW"

I have a k1100lt for a winter hack and it is fantastic and really high quality.
On the other hand I got rid of an r1200rt which was typical modern bmw nasty poor quality cheaply made tat to go back to Kawasaki and I'm loving it.
Problem solved. If you have led indicator bulbs and switch off the ignition with the indicators still switched on it gets all confused due to the small voltage fluctuations during the shut down routine.
Cancel indicators first - no problem.
Glad ya figured it out. :alien:
