IMHO you have excelled yourself Steve, in particular the drone footage, and you chose a great day as the light was superb for filming...your best yet
I'm guessing the conversation with the road repair guy was amiable
Thanks for sharing

Ha, I've only just seen this. It was a grand day out and it did me good to have a decent ride. I'm still getting used to the new bike but so far I'm happy with it and it meets my requirements. It's certainly fast enough for me.
Glad you enjoyed it and the drone footage.
The road contractor was OK, he said I shouldn't have come down to the bridge so I just explained that the road wasn't fully closed and the signage was misleading. Its not like there's an alternative route which you can just turn off onto.
Agreed, the signage was a bit ambiguous, and I would say you were very wise keeping the bike in second gear and your speed low, its a very tricky road, especially in those conditions , I'vetravelled that road severaltimes over the years and enjoyed the film
Yes it's not for novices especially at this time of the year. The gradients are 1 in 4 which is better than Hardknott where they are 1 in 3!
Lovely video down to 1 line answers again :censored:

What is the camera set up on the bike it switches to rear quickly I may have asked before.
And the mic configuration is perfect 👌
I could post more than a sentence this time

The cameras used are detailed at the very end of the video pross,
I'm a muppet with film editing, but I think that Steve's editing skills are responsible for the switching... bloody good tho' aint it
I tried answering O.C.
But alas failed again.
I forgot about the editing I was thinking he had a switch  what am I
well, for all I know there probably is some type of switch somewhere :mfr_lol:
Trying to reply....failed twice so far.
No switch, all done in the editing.
Great film LW, what editing software do you use?
I'm using Final Cut Pro X
Thanks 😊
If you're interested in FCPX you can download a free trial version for 90 days.

Again, thanks very much.
I'm looking to buy a techalogic dc1 early next year, with view to recording a ride round the nc500 in September and then Switzerland and Italy in 2022.
This will be my 1st foray into helmet cameras and making videos. The software will need to be easy to use. I'm very impressed with your films and the the results you've achieved.
Nearly all the video editing software is similar in its functionality to each other. YouTube is a great training aid if you get stuck. I would decide whether you want to record audio at the same time as the video or whether you want to do a voice over later.
Plenty of practice before your important trips and if you need any assistance give us a shout.
Excellent, thankyou very much.
Lots of short breaks away hopefully, prior to my 60th birthday ride around the NC500, so should get some filming/editing training in
