Post by: Kwikasfuki on July 27, 2011, 02:17:34 PM
No, its not a spam post

For those of us that have children (or nephews and nieces  ;D) you can get hugely discounted official and legal software from Software4students (http://www.software4students.co.uk/default.aspx)

The MS windows 7 is listed as an upgrade but there's nothing stopping you installing it as the full version. It doesn't bother checking to see if there is an existing version on the HD for the upgrade.

Some unis provide cheap software to students. However, if it downloaded off the net, I'd be more cautious and they tend to have hidden viruses and malware.

Hes far to bright to let that happen. He knows all about these things. It all came to me on a CD rom....I have all Western Power mapping & customer info on my Computers, so I have to be very careful as to what I use & don't use. I don't want that lot going down on me as it's very important for my work.
