Okay so not so much of a ride out but a walk out! :mfr_lol:
Rumour had it that yesterday was supposed to be wet, possibly even thunderstorms in some areas so I thought it would be an ideal day to conquer Pen Y Ghent which is one of the Three Peaks. I've walked the trail twice before without any problems whatsoever, however yesterday temperatures soared to 29 degrees and trust me when I say walking up a bloody big mountain in tropical conditions is absolutely no fun whatsoever!
I literally ground to a halt, I had no energy left and despite taking plenty of fluids with me and drinking regularly on the ascent it just wasn't going to happen.
Part of the plan was to capture some drone footage which I did manage however the lighting was poor as there was a heat haze, so maybe I'll have to have a further attempt in due course. Anyway if you wish, watch the video, it's only 8 minutes long but it just shows the stunning scenery that the UK has to offer and thankfully it's virtually right on my doorstep.
Please feel free to leave a comment.......
P.S. if you click on the Youtube symbol on the video you'll be able to watch it in HD, possibly even 4K if your device supports it.

More excellent footage... thanks for sharing
I'm intrigued by your drones ability to hover and maybe 'home/follow you' as you continue to walk.
Obviously there are many sides to making such good films, one is the actual filming and then the editing, the actual filming also clearly requires skills in visualising the end product/outcome
Very good Steve  your getting very good at this  but I prefer B.H.P power over nackerarooney power.. but I'm not completely bone idle  as I get of my bike to fuel up and venture the 30 Metres for a nice Frothy Cappuccino at the ponderosa!! :mfr_lol:
Thanks chaps for the comments.
Lovely video .
I was just wondering when you fell of that rock with a triple twist to save the camera . When photographing snowys and my bike
Do you think a drone could have prevented that  :whistling:
That is just lovely scenery isn't it ? ... just gorgeous ... stone walls greenery and not much else .... bloody brilliant.

A drone would have been ideal.
