i took the GTR out this morning,i was on a nice bit of road,3 car's in front,i indicated went for the over take & the 52 plate golf GTI went to do the same time,as i was along side him,i had to swerve to avoid contact & gave it a rather large handful to get out of his way,all joking aside i :shit: myself,i'm pretty sure he did as well, maybe i'll start running the bike in daytime with the FULL BEAM on, there's some right muppet's on the road, just glad i had the power to get out of trouble.
Glad you didn't come together, there are some idiots out there who simply don't look properly before making a manoeuvre
Plenty of muppets out there who haven't been driving for a while because of lockdown, and now they are on the move
Glad you got out of that Tapps without any contact .... sometimes people just don,t look which results in the carnage we see everyday.
Golf GTI's do seem to attract a certain type of driver. We have the same problem here in Bradford.
Glad you didn't come a cropper.
"come a cropper" that's expression that I haven't heard for ages..... like it

oh blimey, we've started summat now, that is Yorkshire terminology as you well know, seems like it's an old expression that has origins with a horses rear quarters (arse) that really is Yorkshire terminology :mfr_lol:
Glad you're OK. Car drivers don't realise the acceleration bikes have so aren't expecting us to go for multiple overtakes simply because they don't have the oomph to do so.
Not in any way sticking up for the driver who was totally in the wrong. Just another part of the reason we have to think for other drivers as well as ourselves.
