Title: Front brake disc buttons
Post by: crisp on May 18, 2020, 02:16:46 PM
Hi, does anyone know where to buy the front disc buttons & their dimensions?
Mine are badly corroded & believe you can drill them out & replace them with aftermarket ones.
Thanks!

Do a search for Brake Disc Bobbins. Plenty out there. No idea what size you'd need.

If the bobbins aren't free, you can get a nut and bolt, insert the bolt though the bobbin, tighten the nut to it, spray the bobbin with brake cleaner and using a spanner, turn the bolt until it moves freely ..

Thats being said, unless you've got a certain amount of mechanical skill and knowledge,
Why on earth anyone would want to interfere with a mechanical section your bike that, if not working, worn, badly maintained ect could cost you your life ?

Just stump up for new discs if needed.
