Will take fairings off  as one unit I just undo tops allens and side ones and drop together I can do this cause of the height off the ground (far easier that splitting ..oil  + filter ..clean k&n filter check coolant (done 2 yrs ago) clean engine block and top of headers really in depth. do behind radiator etc just check everything bike is already very very clean   she is outstanding for her age

That's a great rig you have for working on the bike. My first GTR was an 07 in black, a lovely bike it was too.

Ye great  not cheap though goes up to navel height allows easy all round access  I loosen heavy duty nuts /bolts etc on the ground for security reasons at top height she moves around a little but still safe .. never had any issues can lift any motorcycle with the correct attachments really easy

You motivated me to look back at some very old bike photos of my 07 plate GTR and I found these two which I quite like.

The first shot taken in Lincolnshire. We hated this house as it was seriously haunted. The things which happened in this house are not for the faint hearted!  :hang:

This shot taken at the end of Hardknott Pass in The Lakes.

Looking at those photos demonstrates how massive the spud launcher exhaust was

Here's mine, same year, same model, September 09, different exhaust, taken at Langdale in the Lake District......click image to enlarge

They both look good. Ghost what ghosts? They don't exist.

Exhaust not only massive but heavy especially compared to an Area P.

Spend a night in this house and you would probably have a different viewpoint.

I always thought that, but after three days in this house we had had enough and we left. It was just constant, even our dogs were displaying weird behaviour.

So what was happening then. There will be a rational explanation.
