Title: Riding restrictions
Post by: O.C. on March 29, 2020, 01:21:10 PM
As we aren't allowed to ride for recreation at the moment, I thought it would be a good idea to 'warm' the bikes up

This made me want to ride even more  :hammer:

Very nice. Don't yield to temptation!

Go out for a ride, realistically what harm can it do? Take some food and a drink, pop out for an hour, don't interact with anyone and it'll probably boost your morale 100%.

At times like this you have to look after your mental health as much as your physical health.

I won't risk it Steve, the 'Boys in Blue" here are currently very 'hot' on this subject

If going out for a ride have a purpose to it. Pick up essential items on bike not car.

You could always volunteer to assist the NHS, one of the required roles is delivering prescriptions etc to patients. That way you help the community and satisfy a desire to ride.

Now that would be an honourable thing to do, and better than running the gauntlet with the PSNI       :mfr_lol:

Which begs the question....................has anyone else on the forum volunteered their services  ?

Email to say I should hear in next few days but of course the no of volunteers exceeded their expectations so may take longer.

Virginia today has gone into a mandatory lock down on going anywhere but essential places.  I'm thinking of taking the bike out (with the missus of course) for take away some several hundred miles away.  Going out for food is still ok.
