Hi there...

I am planning a trip around Europe for 7 ppl. (4 bikes, 2 +2 +1) :-)

Have considered swing over Eurotunnel - and touring in UK for a few days! How hard it to find suitable B & B for that number of ppl?

Does anyone have good suggestions for where to look for B & B sites? Should we prebook before
leaving DK? Or can we expect "just to ride in" ???

I use a couple of web sites

Laterooms - http://www.laterooms.com/ (http://www.laterooms.com/) I have never been disappointed with the places I have used via this web site
Premier Inn - http://www.premierinn.com/en/ (http://www.premierinn.com/en/) If you can book a couple of weeks in advance they will often have deals on but it will depend on the location.

Another vote for premier inn. Whatever you do, don't get travel lodge.

I would definately book in advance for so many people. Trip Advisor is a good source of reference. Just make sure you dont book at Innischonian House in Loch Lomond, they are not biker friendly as I discovered to my peril. ::)

what areas are you thinking of going to..it maybe that some of us on here are local and know of some decent places??

Thanks for your answers....

However, we have decided to stay in "main land" Europe! We'll visit Villa Löwenherz in Laudeförde for a few days (touring our from there), and then move on to Kyffhäuser (Kelbra) for a nice visit to the Harz area (again...and again...). From there... we decide on day-basis... I'll love to reach Zell am See and a quick tour over Bolzano/Garda and back into Germany via the great alpes!

looks like i might be in the Harz for 1 night only in Mid August!!....obviously just to make sure its all OK for you :-)

That'll be to late.. we're on the road tomorrow morning 8.30 local DK time ;D
