I dare someone to start a thread, in fact I double dare you!

+1 on that, i blame the weather, ain't been out for week's due to the weather.ROLL ON THE SUMMER,if we get one.
Now the ferry is booked for the Scotland meet runout.
What times breakfast
Proper men don't need breakfast, they get their energy from life itself!
I'm still managing to ride the BMW and old bike most weeks here in Norfolk - there have only been two weeks since winter started that I've had to miss.
Short runs only, normally 30 - 60 miles on each bike, but no great issues weather wise. It probably helps that I don't mind the cold (only really applies to the old Honda anyway, as with the screen, heated grips and seat the BMW is a warm place to be!) although I absolutely hate riding in the wet and most days have been relatively dry and gloomy so far this year.
Roll on spring!
Yeah, I've had a few rides this year, but probably no more than I could count on one hand and nowhere specific, just pottering about. Trouble is you can spend more time cleaning the steed afterwards than riding at this time of the year. We still have some snow about too, I do not ride in the snow!! :mfr_lol:
The weather here has not been conducive to biking, we have had so much rain over the past few months, which has resulted in filthy roads, often accompanied by very windy weather, there has been frost resulting in extremely risky driving/riding conditions plus there has been four separate snow falls in the last couple of weeks, the last fall was this morning when we woke up to a couple of inches of the stuff...... it was lovely walking the dog this morning though in the nice crunchy snow
Neither bike has turned a wheel for months

Just as well you have an Adventure bike then that works in the rain. Where did you go on Tuesday?
Londinium ... to liase with ex DPG and drink much coffee :grin.
Got sent to a course in Reading (live in Norf Lundun), just coming down the M329 and the dash lights up, rear tyre pressure low.
Got my mushroom repair kit and air pump out but it wouldn't hold as the screw had gone in @ 45 degrees.
Called the recovery service and found out that I'm only covered for the first 20 miles.
Crappy MCE policy with a £900 excess that was hobsons choice due to a disputed claim (now sorted 100% in my favour).
£105 to get home, at least I managed to get the tyre patched, expensive first 2020 outing on the Kwack.
More interestingly the recovery bloke asked if I minded going home via Camberley so he could collect a Chinese moped.
He said it was the 6th one he had taken back to the shop recently, get what you pay for!
We stop outside a set a gates with security and he rings the moped owner, meanwhile the security come over and I explain why we're there.
The bloke comes out with the moped and we ask who lives there. Sorry, not allowed to tell you he says.
Reading the paper yesterday about a nasty piece of work from Dubai with too much money who kidnapped his wife, there's a list of some of his UK addresses.
That's who lived there.
Out of interest, which make of tyre did your bike have on it ?
Wonder if it is a Michelin ?

We are on the same hymn sheet Pete :smartass:
That's him, now on my second set of michelin road 5's. About 60% tread left.
1st puncture of any sort for many years (excluding the scooter I use in London)
I have a strong feeling that rather than michelins being magnetic it had a lot more to do with all the work being done on the M4 and some clot dropping a box of screws .
I never use Michelin's anymore due to the high amount of punctures I used to get.
