Unless you're minted I'd look on ebay and get a Chinese copy which are sold at a fraction of the cost and by all accounts are surprisingly good.

I've just had a quick look on ebay, there's a used one at £150 and a new one for £228.

i had seen these but they are not country specific. ie UK beam to the left type or am i wrong? can i just buy a usa spec and it will be okay???? i dont know

A quick polish and it'll be fine. There are some garages near me that could have that back on the road fully MOT'd (no advisories) the same day. It's true cos I've seen the results on Police Interceptors. :popcorn:

Is this something which can be adjusted, I believe at MOT time if the beam is off track it can be realigned although I am not sure to what degree. Just buy one from eBay, have a look, see what the crack is and if it's not suitable just return it. You can do this with new or used under the distance selling regs.
