Title: Cleaning the beast
Post by: pross on January 03, 2020, 07:04:04 AM
Regarding cleaning.

Before Christmas I treated myself to a works hydroshot.
It's not as powerful as the ones used on cars at car washes  but I found it ideal for the bike and the bonus for me as I live in an upstairs flat is around 4/5 buckets of water it's done 👍 the only extras I purchased was another battery to make sure I completed the wash .
For anybody with the same problem as me a water supply to outside Around £100 not so dear .

Just watched a YouTube clip on it, it looks okay, it could even be better than a jet wash when used with a bike as it may be less likely to force water into places where water shouldn't go.

Are you able to do a video of yourself using it and cleaning the bike.

Not really not got the equipment or patience lol .
The pressure was 1 of the things that ticked the right boxs
I usually use 2 buckets 1 to soak the bike then 1 with the snow foam . Then I clean when the foam is soaking with a sponge and leather then 2 or 3 buckets to rinse off on the highest spray setting. I cannot fault it one thing to remember have the gun lower than the bucket level to prime then it's just go for it .

I may try a video in the summer lol 😂
