I think I saw HMS Queen Elizabeth off the coast of Norfolk VA Beach area today. Gave me goose bumps. Have never seen a carrier with two islands. Makes me proud of my heritage.
I/we have very recently been watching a series of T.V programmes about the Queen Elizabeth Jim, and you are right it is an extraordinary ship, which amongst other things is now equipped with F 35 Aircraft, which have been proven to be able to land whilst still loaded with bombs etc, this apparently is something that has never been achieved before
