In America Yahoo finance conducted a survey to find out what is the most reliable manufacturer. Results are quite interesting. Figures in brackets are percentage of owners complaining of faults. Results are as follows:-

2. Suzuki/Honda(12%)

4. Victory (17%)
5. Harley D (26%)
6 . Triumph (29%)

I believe that study was actually done on MC from 2008 thru 2014 from what I can glean on the 'Net. Which is why Indian doesn't appear on it. Victory (another Polaris product) suffered in the early years but became rock solid before it was dropped in 2017 in favor of the Indian brand. Sales had been dropping (like HD's had) but Indian's had been gaining and rather than supporting two brands Polaris decided to drop Victory. We rather liked the looks of the Victories over the years but happily we decided on Indian in 2017.
