I've gone from GTR to Versys1000 SE GT, which is much better for me

I still love the GTR though but too heavy for me these days

I guess the answer to the question whether the H2SX is better all depends what you are going to use the bike for and your needs.

The H2SX is a fine machine which is nimble, goes like a rocket and is very comfortable: however for one person! Kawasaki show the bike with rider and pillion plus panniers in many of their adverts, but the pillion must be all of 5 ft tall and weigh 55kgs lol.

I think the GTR is far better machine for long distance two-up touring, but a heavy lump for sure however the weight has an advantage of stability on the move.

Unfortunately you can no longer buy a new GTR in Europe but the H2SX variants are readily available.
