Just been toooooo busy Steve .. family down, birthdays, days out, family BBQ,s ... sadly anything but riding my bike .. perhaps in the next few days I shall try and get out .. must try and make the most of this sunny weather :cool:
I went as far as the annual Fenman Classic Bike Show on the old (1972) Honda CB750. Reached some 31c before lunch and stayed that way, left around 2:30 p.m. for home and a cool beer in the garden!
Sounds nice ... I honestly thought I would get out this afternoon and it pains me to say this ... as I know in a while we will only dream of warm weather ilke this ... but its tooooo hot ! :cool: :cool:
Accident on the M25 bridge, massive tailback to the A13, 20 mile queues going and coming back on the A2, filtering for bloody ever.
Staying at home next time.

(Best bit was Dover Transport Museum, run by volunteers £8 entrance lasts for a year.)
Well I had a few hours out on the bike and managed to get to the East coast, Bridlington, via Seaways Cafe at Fridaythorpe. The cafe was rammed and Brid was bloody heaving. I honestly cannot remember in recent years it ever being so busy. No problem parking though as like a lot of places these days there are specific bike parking bays which hardly ever get used. Maximum temperature reached 32.5 degrees!

I've saved the best for last. This was absolutely stunning. On my way out of Brid I came across this, a huge display of a Halifax bomber at the road side. Three sections of a photo, on what looked like canvas sandwiched between the protective casings.
