Title: First service on new bike
Post by: BigAlan on July 19, 2011, 11:41:52 AM
When purchaseing a new GTR say Sep 1st, i am informed that the first service you now have to pay in full rather than just for the materials?

The last four new bikes i have purchased (in last six years) i have always had the first 600 mile service labour free, has this changed on the Kawasaki range?

Thanks
Alan

My first service in April was free apart from materials.

First service is normally free ex parts.
I'd be finding another dealer

Both dealers i have spoken to say the same, just over £100 for the first 600 mile service.

Hmmm best i negiotiate that into the deal.

All three dealers around me told me the same thing, paid £125 for my first service a month ago.

We paid for our first service as well. I was told it was a change in policy by Kawasaki.
