Title: Identity of these connectors?
Post by: Kendo on August 10, 2019, 06:54:44 PM
Located on the right hand side of the engine as you're sitting on the bike. Just inside the lower fairing. As pictured.

What are they for?

I think that they should be joined to each other and it's the lambda sensor

Ps I only think, I do not know and won't get to check until Monday

I've just had an in depth poke around and yes it look like they are Lambda connectors. They have been cable tied to their present location and I'm guessing were disconnected as part of the remap by BSD performance earlier this year.

Yup, lambda sensor connectors. Mine are disconnected too as I have SiSFs Decel Flash.
There are 2 sensors. I recommend covering the connectors if you can as they will corrode if exposed.
I put some rubber covers over mine.

My Decel Flash is an older (2016) version of the current Mountain Runner.
It's for the sportier rider as it gives a bit more engine braking than standard.
It also gives way more torque at lower rpm and a bhp boost at the top end.
The biggest takeaway is that it nearly eliminates throttle snatchiness and makes it a much easier ride.
The biggest negative is that it is way toooo smooth, so you'd best pay attention to your speedo if you want to keep your licence.
I got mine done whilst on holiday in Florida. Steve has since moved to North Florida.

Is there anyone who can re-flash an ECU to default factory settings?

Might be worth looking at swapping yours for a standard one?

Do a part exchange with someone looking for an upgrade.

Bsd reflashed my gtr a few months after I bought it. I think it gave me one more hp than a stock bike.
More usefully as I am always two up it really smoothed out the low speed throttle snatch.
I wouldn't worry about returning it to stock, it won't be earth shatteringly different especially if you are a solo rider.
