i always ride my gtr with the tyre pressure on the screen, on my trip to peterborough for the bike show i noticed the rear was showing a low pressure, luckily i carry a small inflator i topped it up as needed, over night it went down to 24psi,i inspected the tyre for a nail/screw,there was nothing,as it's squared off in the centre i'm going to get it replaced.at the end of the day i managed to get home to west sussex ok.
They'll probably be the smallest of pin holes somewhere or a tiny split, I'd be very surprised if it was the actual valve. At least you got home safely.
i've been advised to keep it topped up with air while i'm waiting on a new tyre to be fitted, it's losing about 20 psi over night,i've parked it on the main stand, will the tyre keep it's seal on the rim as long as i don't use it, the earliest i can get a new tyre fitted is on the 11th of june.
11th June? Can't you get one of those mobile tyre fitting companies to come out and do straight away.
i managed to find one puncture, got my plug & go tubeless punture repare kit & plugged the puncture, when i checked the repair with soapy water there was another puncture about 1'' away actually in the tread, will this be repairable using the same kit.
I wouldn't personally, it's a decision only you can make as you'd have to have confidence in your tyre when riding your bike.

this is only a temporary fix to get me to the dealer's for a new pair of tyre's,i plugged one puncture & found another about 1 inch away from the one i plugged,i'm leaving that one alone.i looked at the mileage i had covered on the pirelli angel gt's & i got 6,200 mile's out to the pair, the front would do a little more but i will replace them both at the same time.i will stick to the pirelli's.
Michelin PR4 GT are also great on the GTR.
Angel GT's all the way.
I chose Pirelli Angel GT's as they seem to suit the heavy GTR1400. I always replace both tyres even if the front has some life left, new tyres are such a treat. On the subject of tyre pressure sensors, I replaced the batteries on both wheel sensors, took a while to dig out the old batteries as they are set in glue, so I did likewise. I was gob smacked when the readings came up on the dash, £3 well spent.
Tip:- If you have metal dust caps fitted ensure they have some thread lube on them. My last GTR had metal dust caps one of which had corroded on solid, the stem sheared off when trying to remove it, luckily Bournemouth Kawasaki gave me a used spare valve stem from a sensor that had been replaced for a customer.
