Am doing a oil change and have noticed that the sump plug has a thick metal washer on the plug ,does it not need a copper washer also in front of that . Have changed oil lots of times but have only seem to notic3 it has no copper washer this time ,it has never dripped before and the new pugs only seem to show th3 thick washer any thoughts on this
It just needs the thick metal washer, torque it up correctly and it'll be fine.
