Title: Horn
Post by: knightraider on February 21, 2019, 01:04:06 PM
Hi All

I am wanting to change my horn from the crappy standard one.

Has anyone any recommendations for a louder one, that is simple to fit.

Thanks

Glen

Easy fit and good sound, if you want LOUD then maybe Denali

I fitted the PIAA OC recommend easy fix used the same bracket to mount the two horns and the wire running the old horn powered the new PIAA horns.the wire that comes with them I made the link only need some crimps 👌

Hi Nightraider,
Stebl for me (had it on two previous bikes so don't know present costs), fitted under offside upper fairing, powered by original re-routed hooter wiring. No problem passing MOT's. Nice and loud when you need it.
There are a few fitting guides about on the net.

Thats a bit different, I don't know anyone who has ever fitted a car horn to a bike before! Very ingenious.

Hi Glen, Stebl for me also,  no probs fitting. Had it on previous bikes as well. Not the smallest but plenty loud enough.

Bosch, second hand, around 5 Euros here in Bucharest. Believe me, it is much louder than the original..
