Angie has been looking at the Ninja 400 our local dealers did not have a Black one in stock to look at and compare the KRT and Black side by side. i did a search on the K site and only 2 dealers had one within my 50 mile search, CWK being the nearest ( 45 miles ). I called first to make sure it was still available and to my surprise Chris answered the phone they had the bike on display, we hopped on the GTR and was there within 45 minutes. once there we went straight to the bike to have a look,Chris came over and i told him who we were we began chatting about the bike and he told me he had sold 5 to date and they were selling like hot cakes. He was really down to earth no Airs n Graces Top Man, we went for a coffee and snack in his superb on site cafe ( i can tell you the sausage rolls are top notch ) to mull over the decision to buy or not. We decided to buy one however being a Yorkshire man i asked if they was any chance he could throw a tinted screen in the deal - OMG i was so shocked when he told us what other items he would also throw in FOC ( not going to say out of respect for CW ). Needless to say we ordered one ( performance model - however the Akro exhaust is not ready for another 2 -3 week ) - pick it up this coming Saturday, ( Bugger though no more than 5k revs = 50mph for 600mile - Arghhhhhhhhh)
I have never been into a dealer in all my 40 years of biking whereby i have felt so comfortable the moment i walked into the shop treat so well CWK is a credit to Kawasaki, and Chris Walker Himself.
He has a pristine condition GTR 16 reg with 6500 miles (silver) up for £9995 - if anyone interested i am sure he would do a great deal.
Sounds like a good deal ,,have spoke to Chris casually when I met him at Cadwell Park seemed like a nice genuine bloke ,keep meaning to call in at his shop , :biker3:
Great story Zed, its good to hear that this kind of customer service is still out there, my local dealership are outstanding as nothing is too much trouble and the welcome is genuine and enthusiastic....it was there that I saw the little 400 and you are right its a great looking bike
