So last August I sold my GTR to tartan-jock and purchased a Ducati Multistrada 1200S with 1200 miles from new, awesome bit of kit, so much so I now want a brand new one.
This is a 16 reg (July) so still under warranty, white, four riding modes but I only used it in Touring mode, has the Skyhook suspension system which put can change every mode to suit yourself, cruise control and all the usual Ducati standard systems.
Now done 4100 miles and serviced by Ducati.
£11500 and based in Oxford
Heaps lighter than the GTR weight wise 😀
Well you told me that you really liked the Duc Alan, but I didn't realise just how much...good luck with the sale mate, I was just reading a report about the Ducati 1260 S and it sounds like an impressive machine. I've never tried one but intend to do so once the weather improves (3" snow here at the moment) we have a Ducati dealer in Ballymoney which is only 16 miles away.
The main concern I have after trying a Multistrada a good few years ago is space, and especially for the pillion
The weight saving makes such a massive difference to both riding enjoyment and also manoeuvring/manhandling the bike around
Hi Rog
The weight was the biggest factor in me selling the GTR and this thing without beating it to death is a rocket ship, so much so I need a new one.
Mind you the wife says I don't but what does she know.
Sunny here, cold but sunny.
