So. After 10 years of owning a GTR I'm in the process of buying a new bike. 2016 GS adv. not a cert yet as BMW are haggling on the trade in price and Im not too bothered. Loved the GTR but time for a change I think.
That's a very different steed to the GTR, I hope that you enjoy your GSA, and don't forget to let us know how the new relationship develops
I too have looked at the GSA recently but am still undecided between that and another K16. Each have their own qualities.
Despite Petes continued tirade of comptliments I mean abuse about BMW, you do get looked after by them impeccably. Two years warranty on a used bike, who else does that?
I looked at a 2010 GSA very recently at a non BMW dealer which I was very interested in but it only came with a 30 day warranty.....30 days, that doesn't exactly fill you with confidence does it?
I hope you get the deal you seek, it's certainly a good time of the year to buy.

obviously I have to make a remark! Perhaps one needs a two year warranty on a second hand BMW
Despite that I do like the gs!
Indeed .. let us know how you get on with the GS ADV ... lovely but with those big cupboards stuck on the side I,m not so sure ! I shall have to scratch the K16 itch next year  Have you thought of a NEW GSA on a PCP or would you prefer not to worry about mileage etc ?
Well, deals all done. Got the price I wanted for the GTR and managed to convince them to throw in a full major service and a set of new boots. #result. Hopefully picking it up this weekend dependant on V5 returning from DVLA as the bike was white but BMW changed to black.
:)
Looks nice........ For a BMW. Enjoy let us know what it's like.
That looks really nice doesn't it Pete?
You've done well there if one minute they're haggling over a trade in price and then they're giving you a service and free boots.
Yes Steve looks brill!!
Very nice Pete ... very nice indeed !
