Does anyone know whether the NEC has locker facilities to put all your shit in to avoid having to lug it around with you?
Surely you would just put it
In your capacious BMW panniers.
who bothers with it anyways?

That seems a perfectly reasonable point. Does the extra 200cc of cylinder capacity impact on the luggage space?
There are definitely cloakrooms at the NEC for most shows although I have not been to the bike show for years so I don't know if there is anything "extra". It may be worth dropping them an e-mail and if the response is not positive perhaps you could pick up a bargain trailer
Steve, the last time that I went to Motorcycle Live (some three years ago) if you parked in the motorcycle only area (free and indoor, security achieved through issue of a wristband for you to wear and the same threaded through the bike's handlebars, both must match at the gate on leaving) there was a helmet and clothing storage area that was permanently manned and allowed gear to be deposited safely for a few pounds.
As I was on the GTR I didn't need this facility, being able to lock it all in the top case and panniers!
I also often use a "Lidsafe" when at shows; as this enables a helmet and jacket to be put into the armoured storage bag, which can then be locked to the forks or similar.
Hope this helps.
As flatfour stated bike parking is free in one of the halls and last year there was a coach parked in the hall for your leathers and helmet if you wish for a fee.
I don’t think this is anything todo with the NEC show that’s probably why you pay.
A few years back they stored your helmets for free but nothing else just helmets.
But I used my panniers for my bike gear as PRD suggested and walked round in my trainers and casual clobber as you don’t have to go outside once parked walk out the hall up the stairs to the hall
