Title: Hello - Newbie here.
Post by: johnboss on September 30, 2017, 10:33:19 PM
Hi - new to this group and about to become the owner of a GTR.  I currently ride a Suzuki Intruder 800 and am just starting a project rebuild of a 1997 Suzuki Bandit. 600.  Started back riding 3 years ago after a 30 year break.

Actuall black with a green stripe is the fastest one.

Thanks for the welcome guys.......I'm expecting to collect her in a couple of weeks - I've a little more negotiating power now with the last couple of dealers because we've decided to bring forward the purchase (or ordering) of a Z900 for my son.

It'll be the moondust gray / carbon gray version.  Both dealers in contention for the order have assured me this is the best colour, its the fastest colour and the one all the supermodels prefer to be seen on...and dealers don't lie... do they?

Another Newbie here..... popped out on Saturday and accidentally bought an 08 GTR1400, I think the misses only asked me to get a pint of milk.

I'm a little challenged in the height department (5'8) - Bike seems great, but after previous experience with a blackbird, I've decided to order a Sargent Low profile seat, should turn up in a few weeks, until then i'm being cautious about having to paddle the bike out of parking bays

Craig.
