10 years on, and it still comes with the shitty plastic rack.

Scrolling down made me chuckle, 'You may also like'...... a 1700 Vulcan Vaquero  :mfr_lol:

So...... every new model year is.......... yet another change of colour!!!

No electronic suspension, no cruise control.....

90% of the bikes I've tried this year have got both. WHY would a 'sports tourer' NOT have c control these days. Even a bloody GS has it??

I agree how hard would it be for mr Kawasaki to fit cruise control

I had that black with green pinstriping on my last bike, 2015-2017, so not really new.

I thought when I was ready to trade my ZZR in for a nice GTR I would have the very lovely black colour (like my past 4 Kwaks). Yo and behold, the year I decide, black has been discontinued so I was stuck with moon dirt grey!!

Now, if Kawasaki release the black over here again I shall be straight into my local dealer for one

Fingers crossed

I'm still pondering over what bike to get and it'll be either another k1600, or a GSA1200, or GTR1400. It would without doubt be a GTR if only it had cruise control as standard. It defies logic why it doesn't already come with it.

Real men who do real big miles do need cruise control

Off to Malaga on Tuesday via Calais 1700 real big miles, it'll be cold and wet in Le Mans, cold in Bordeaux, warming at Biarritz, proper warm by Madrid, 30c when i reach Malaga.

Ive had to rig my own "cruise control" Bluetooth headset for the tunes, botched on sat nav (which needs removing at every stop .

I need a K1600 GT SE

Pete we could discuss this all night long and I'm happy to do so while I'm at work getting paid.  :whistling:

It's a sensible option to fit on a touring bike just like a sat nav, both should be fitted as standard to the GTR.

I am not sure if I will be comfortable using cruise control on the motorcycle. I rarely use it on the car.
But that is just my opinion, and we all know what they say about opinions  :whistling:
However in the today market of the (sport) tourer bikes it is mostly standard.

Cheers

I'm happy to do big miles with out a cruise control it does not bother me. I will concede in this day and age a big tourer will have one. But until k update the bike it won't happen. And I don't think that is very likely. They can sell a few round the world and that is all they need to do.  We have the Versys now instead.....
