Title: Zumo 660
Post by: GTRpilot on August 19, 2017, 10:08:56 PM
Just checked my Zumo map's and they are 2017.20, apparently about 1 year out of date, the latest being 2018.20.
I have read some report's of folk's having problem's with the latest update.
Anyone updated to 2018.20?
Is it worth an update if only 1 year out, how much changes in a year?
Thought's / experience appreciated.

How did you check your dates??? I've not updated my Garmin for a couple of years now, so god only knows how old mine are??  :embarrassed:

Turn on - Tool's - Setting's - Map - At the bottom it should say map info, press and it will show what map's and version.
Mine say's:
CN Europe NT 2017.20 and CN Europe NT 2017.20 3D.
Both boxes ticked.
Hope that help's.

I had a 660 until a couple of months ago when a second hand 590 came up for sale for a good price. I had no issues with the latest maps on the 660.

Cheer's, looked at upgrading to the 590 but it's a bit pricey. Is there much improvement over the 660?

To be honest, I'd never have bought a new 590 or 595 as I think they're crazy money for what they are. The 660 did everything I wanted and needed it to do, but the 590 came up for a great price on gumtree so bought it and sold the 660 on eBay. The upgrade cost me a grand total of 70 quid! I've not used the 590 much yet, but everything on it seems slicker and more modern, similar to a phone upgrade I guess if that makes sense.
