Has anybody fitted one of these Brembo 320mm upgrades to their GTR1400?.If so I would be interested in any feedback on the end result in terms of braking performance ,link brake operation etc.
Or the Brembo 310mm Replacement Upgrade Disc Front kit for a GTR1400.
Apparently the ZX14R uses the same rotorS as the GTR1400 on the front.
Can you post a link to the ones you are referring to?
AS far as I am concerned the OEM brakes are well up to the job. I have no trouble in getting the tyre to squeal or the ABS to kick in. Can't see that Brembos would improve on that
The links are as follows: http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/motorcycle/brake-discs/bike/kawasaki/2014/gtr1400/brembo-replacement-upgrade-disc-front

Unfortunately the OEM rotors here in Australia due I guess to the hot condition etc tend to suffer from brake shudder after a while.Hence the upgrade.
I fitted the brembo kit to my ninja 1000 and still have my gtr 1400 to compare it to.Both bike are running Vesrah pads, so the comparison is valid.
With Vesrah pads, the gtr1400 brakes are awesome. However, they are not even in the same class as compared to the Brembo discs.
I would be the first person to tell you to save your money, but regarding these discs, I just cant.
The discs are amazing, quiet, powerful, and beautiful. Sorry if I left anything out...
If my stock 14 discs ever go bad, I promise you, I'll replace them with the brembos.
My brembos are actually the 330mm models and were taken off a brand new 2016 zx10...hint..hint....and I paid 199.00, shipped.
If soemoen is breaking one, it might be a way to save some serious coin. I needed 10mm caliper spacers to fit them, but no big deal.
